Italian Home Cooking

This course offers an introduction to Italian home cooking by celebrating tastes and colours of different regions of Italy.

Participants will learn about the ritual of making:
– fresh egg pasta from scratch, including tagliatelle and strozzapreti;
– family meals such as parmigiana di melanzane and polpette;
– a selection of dolci (delicious desserts from Alpine strudel to traditional crostata and ciambella).

Participants will also have a closer look at the staples of Italian cookery and browse through Italian magazines and old cookbooks.

The course, addressed to everyone who loves Italian food, will show how good Italian cuisine can be affordable and relaxed.

Our lessons run on a termly basis on weekday evenings.
